Soaring above the Ninemile Valley is the lofty Ch-Paa-Qn Mountain. At nearly 8,000′ this mountain is prominently visible from downtown Missoula and has captured the imagination of many, especially in the winter when its pyramid silhouette is especially visible.
We will be running towards the Ch-Paa-Qn summit in the summer, however, when we can trade snow for flowers and huckleberries! Join us for this guided 11 mile point-to-point trail run as we experience the high altitude of the Reservation Divide Mountains at the height of summer.
Throughout the run we will share the cultural and geological history of the mountain and surrounding area. From the summit we will share inspiring views of the nearby Mission Mountains and Northern Bitterroots.
The Alpine Running Guides Ch-Paa-Qn Summit trail running adventure is permitted to be on United States Forest Service Land by the Ninemile Ranger District of the Lolo National Forest.
