Reservation Divide

Separating the gorgeous Ninemile Valley from the Flathead river is a ribbon of mountains known as the Reservation Divide. The highpoint, Ch-Paa-Qn, is especially prominent on the horizon from Missoula during winter months, but calls to adventure enthusiasts year round.

20160819_114007This single-day Alpine Running Guides tour covers nearly 15 miles along the ridge line separating the two valleys. With views of the Missions, Rattlesnake Mountains, Ninemile Range, and the Northern Bitterroot, plus a plethora of flowers at your feet, this is a wonderful way to explore a little known corner of Western Montana.

The Reservation Divide trip is an adventure run! We will not be trying to set a Fastest Known Time, in fact we will be pausing frequently to take in the beauty, but like all adventures it may be challenging. We recommend that you have completed a 15-20 mile run before joining us on this trip. Please give us a call to see if this trip is right for you.
